Children’s Ministry Info

Summer Selah: For the following dates during the summer, all of our children participate in the service alongside adults and we don’t have our normal classes.

  • June 28

  • July 5

  • July 12

We typically offer the following age-specific environments on Sundays.

Children are dispatched to their classes about halfway through our worship service after a time of singing, prayer, communion, and announcements.

Pre-School (Ages 0-4) || Coordinator: Hannah

Elementary (Ages 5-11) || Coordinator: Cathy

All of our coordinators and workers have been processed through our safety screening as well as trained to serve with children.

Curriculum
Our pre-school class is primarily a screen-free environment. We use playtime, snack, and opportunities for prayer to encourage faith formation. Additionally, we read hand-selected stories and books on rotation such as: The Jesus Storybook Bible (Sally Lloyd-Jones), The Man in the Tree and the Brand New Start: A True Story about Zacchaeus (Laferton), and God Speaks in Whispers (Batterson).

Our elementary class is high-energy with games, snacks, funny videos about Scripture, and guided discussion as well as prayer. The primary curriculum is Scripture along with resources from The Bible Engagement Project and The Bible Project.
