SUNDAYS: WHAT TO EXPECT
Our Sunday service begins with a time of multi-generational worship that includes song, prayer, and communion. We then dispatch our children's ministry for a lesson tailored for young worshipers. The rest of us share together in a message from scripture and concluding prayer.
We also have the following Sunday happenings:
- Most weeks, we begin collecting ourselves at 10:30am in the kitchen cafe for coffee, tea, and pastries. There’s chatter and hello’s and time to catch up with each other. People share concerns and comedies from the previous week, and prepare for the worship service.
- Our service begins at 11am and ends at 12pm.
- Each quarter, we hold “Intensives,” three week sessions providing an extended focus on a particular topic for each intensive.
- On the last Sunday of every month, service is followed by a fellowship meal, usually potluck although sometimes catered.
